ACP-EU Energy Facility Seminars

Six thematic regional seminars will be organised on the projects' developments and on the energy sector in ACP countries, in order to contribute to the dissemination of results, best practices and networking amongst project implementing bodies.

6th Regional Seminar: The Energy Facility and Sustainable Energy for All – The 2012 Call for Proposals

21 - 22 November 2012 - Kigali, Rwanda


The first two Regional Seminars aimed at promoting good practices regarding the preparation, launch and implementation of energy projects, based on the experience of the already ongoing projects within the Energy Facility and at providing detailed information on the new launch of the Second Energy Facility and its Call for Proposals. During the seminars, the stakeholders, partners and potential project applicants enjoyed the opportunity to network and share knowledge and explore possibilities for further cooperation.      


The recent Seminars aim at promoting good practices regarding the implementation of energy projects, based on the experience of the already ongoing projects within the Energy Facility. They emphasize the measures necessary to ensure access to sustainable energy for all and discuss how to ensure the impact of the projects in the short and the long term.
